ULTRA WALES
The first two groups for Wales (ULTRA Beacon & Alliance), as of writing in May 2024, have no places left. There groups meets in Cardiff’s Ivy and is called ULTRA Alliance.
Our third group in Wales is led by sporting icon Rupert Moon and begins in Swansea in mid July 2024.
Our fourth group in Wales is led by business leader Hannah Williams and begins in Cardiff in mid October 2024.

What is ULTRA?
General Sir Peter Wall GCB CBE DL has been the Leader of ULTRA’s Mercury group for 2 years. He is a 4 star General, the former Head of the British Army, a board level Director of one of the world’s biggest companies: General Dynamics, and is CEO of Amicus - a business he co-founded.
ULTRA Wales & Launch Event
It all began at 7pm on 19th January 2023 with a special and exclusive launch event which took place in the evening at The Ivy Cardiff.
Over 100 business leaders attended.
Our guest speaker was Ian Price, Director of CBI Wales - who was in conversation with Anne Jessopp, CEO of The Royal Mint.
The event was Sponsored by DCW Group. We are also partnering with a number of luxury brands including 886 by The Royal Mint, Penhaligons and Boss. The new division takes its name from the period in which the Royal Mint was founded – circa 886.
The Ivy is our Official Partner for ULTRA Wales and the regular morning group meetings are hosted in their exclusive private dining room - the Shearwater - from 7.30am to 10.15am from late February 2023.

New TV Series Sneak Peek
The UK’s top property expert and presenter of 30 seasons of BBC1’s Homes Under the Hammer has been filming a TV series set in the Valleys.
Martin Roberts was at the launch and showed a short clip and talk about the show.
It’s all a bit under wraps… however we can tell you that it’s about community, urban renewal and business in challenging times.
A number of well-known business leaders from Wales have already taken part - from ULTRA Member Rayner Davies, to CEOs like from Brad Cummings from Tiny Rebel and Stephen Davies of Penderyn Distillery. ULTRA Founder Jamie is a producer on the show.
