General Sir Peter Wall GCB, CBE, DL, FREng

Sir Peter is the co-founder of Amicus, a specialist leadership consultancy. He was the Commander in Chief of UK Land Forces and subsequently, Chief of the General Staff (Head of the British Army), retiring in 2014. He has an engineering degree from the University of Cambridge and has extensive experience in dealing with British and foreign governments at the highest levels, as well as a proven track record in the strategic leadership of large and complex organisations. He is a recognised speaker on geopolitics and leadership techniques in business and is a visiting professor at Exeter University.

Peter is a director of the General Dynamics Corporation and president of Combat Stress, the UK military mental health charity.

He is an avid follower of sport, sails, skis and plays the occasional game of village cricket.

Andy Davies

Andy is an independent Non-Executive Director for the Standard Life Master Trust pension schemes, responsible for the best interests of >250k members and custodianship of nearly £8bn customer assets. 

He is also a Management Consultant specialising in advising businesses, both major brands and smaller organisations, in strategic change and effective business ‘story-telling’. Andy also provides business coaching, mentoring, and training programmes to support business leaders and others looking to further their careers.

 Andy has over 35 years of broad, senior management experience within Financial Services including marketing, strategic planning, business development, programme management, finance, operations and IT.

He was previously Director of Marketing Strategy and Customer Insight for AXA UK & Ireland and delivered the company’s first ‘Customer Centricity’ strategy. Prior to that, he developed the strategy, and then became one of the 6 founder members of the Elevate investment platform which secured over £10bn of assets before being acquired.

Andy is a professionally accredited Trustee, a qualified Chartered Insurer and Financial Planner in addition to holding separate professional Project, Process and Proposal Management qualifications.

Ian Workman

Ian leads the second group - Jupiter. At present, he is the Chief Customer Officer for Homes England. Until 1st December 2021, he was the Managing Director of Barclays Business UK. He is an experienced Managing Director with scale leadership skills in Business Banking, Corporate & Commercial banking.

He has a track record of achieving financial results and improved client engagement. Experienced in credit risk management , regulatory remediation and project management. Recognised as an industry leader and expert in the SME Sector having worked with thousands of businesses across the UK in all sectors. Passionate advocate of social business and social impact and also equality and diversity in society. Currently studying part time for a Masters degree in Equity & Diversity in Society and previous education includes abridged leadership training at Stanford University.

ULTRA WALES Leader:

Steve Dalton OBE CDir FIoD(Dip) CCMI

Steve Dalton OBE has been part of Sony for 40 years. He is currently the Executive Advisor at Sony Europe and is concluding his role as Managing Director for UK Tec Operations. 

In addition, he has been Chair of the Board of Directors of the Football Association of Wales for nearly 4 years.

Steve is an inspirational and visionary senior executive and transformation leader, with a unique skill set of operational and change management skills, developed turning around and growing business in crisis. He received his OBE for this work in Wales. He excels with strong and credible communication and influencing skills, working effectively with stakeholders, strategic partners, vendors, industry regulators, PR/media connections and Government.

He is a qualified Chartered Director through the Institute of Directors and enjoys several external board roles of Industry bodies. Steve was a Board Director of Sony UK from 2005 to 2015.

Steve enjoys playing football himself and lives in Bridgend.

Jamie Breese

Jamie is the founder and managing director. This new endeavour emerged after 15 years of running business events for 12 to 5,500 attendees: 10 stadium expos, over 1500 EVO meetings, 100s of in-person events in premium venues and 28 upper-tier networking balls for 500+ decision-makers.

Jamie has engaged speakers from Baroness Brady to the Secretary of State for International Trade, from Trunki creator Rob Law MBE to Labour peer Baroness Primarolo. He has officially partnered with and welcomed speakers from firms like Facebook and Google and co-promoted and compered ‘Boris Means Business’. Alongside this, he has developed a contacts book as an event host, columnist at the Sunday Mirror for 20 years and a presenter of more than 500 network TV shows in the UK and US. Recently, he hosted/produced the weekly LinkedIn accredited show The Biz Live,.
